Alpine valley viewThe resorts of Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz are perfect for bikers of all fitness levels and abilities. Whether you prefer fairly flat ground and easy cross-country tracks or like to challenge yourself with some steep downhills and rocky single track we have just the rides for you! Resort routes are graded from green through to blue, red and black. Green and blue runs are suitable for beginners and improvers, red tracks are best for confident riders and black runs are the domain of the experienced or advanced rider.

Our easier routes consist of green and blue tracks, including wide firetracks through shady pine forests, straightforward cross-country routes with some stunning views and lots of gentle alpine riding past beautiful traditional french chalets and farms dotted through the meadows, often a riot of colour in summer with their balconies covered in geraniums. The routes are varied so you will find varying levels of difficulty within these rides allowing you to tackle different challenges every day whilst enjoying the whole experience.

Downhill bikerOur more challenging rides incorporate mainly red tracks with some blacks. All of the rides generally begin on similar terrain to the easier routes but soon climb, sometimes fairly steeply, up forest tracks towards the mountain peaks. As you climb round the heads of valleys, cruise along the summit ridges and head down again along the steep forest single tracks, watch out for tree roots - they occasionally take you by surprise! On reaching a peak's summit there's nothing better than to stand and admire the 360degree view that rewards you. During a hard ride it's important to keep your liquid intake up so our rides will always point you in the direction of a buvette or mountain restaurant where you can sit on the terrace with a beer, relax and refresh during the course of your day.

The resorts also offer 3 specific downhill tracks.
