The Etape du Tour 2020
The Etape du Tour sportive event recreates a mountain stage of the Tour de France each year, allowing amateur riders to experience being part of a peloton of 15,000+ riders, along closed roads raced on by the pros of the Tour de France.
Details of the route for the Etape du Tour 2020 have now been announced, and it will take place on Sunday 5th July, from Nice to Nice on the Côte d’Azur.
This is the same route as stage 2 of the 2020 edition of the Tour de France, which will have passed through the previous week.
Due to the location being so far away from our base in the Northern Alps, we won’t be offering a support package for the event in 2020 sadly. However, we can offer you the opportunity to ride some or all of a previous Etape route, using our home base in the Aravis mountains as your starting point.
